Kentucky Hunger DialogueWelcome to the Kentucky Hunger Dialogue!  We are excited that you are interested in taking action against hunger in our beautiful state.  The Hunger Dialogue is part of the Universities Fighting World Hunger (UFWH) and Presidents United to Solve Hunger (PUSH) initiatives.

Each year, Kentucky Campus Compact (KyCC) partners with an in-state university to host an event called the Kentucky Hunger Dialogue, which convenes non-profit organizations, educators, students, and community members to merge ideas and expertise about alleviating food insecurity in a state where 700,000 people go hungry. The Hunger Dialogue pairs information about what sustainable and replicable local tactics are working in the fight against food insecurity, with space to collaborate and innovate new solutions.

Hybrid: In person and zoom option (the opening and closing speaker and one presentation each breakout session will be available on zoom)

Participants will learn:

Participants will leave the conference with an adaptable collection of programs, methods, or practices for engaging in food security work at their own colleges and communities, along with a useful network of resources.

Kentucky Hunger Dialogue 2022

In 2022, FUEL NKU at Northern Kentucky University is pleased to serve as the co-host of the event on September 30, 2022. The purpose of this conference is to help alleviate hunger insecurity in Kentucky as there are 700,000 people just in Kentucky who go hungry every year. We all need to work together to change this reality.  Click here for more information about this year’s Hunger Dialogue.
